Billie Starkz joins Spark Joshi's Ignite East 2023

Spark Joshi announces the addition of Billie Starkz to Ignite East 2023 in Newark, NJ.

Starting her career in the squared circle at the age of 13, Billie Starkz had already showcased her talent across the American independent wrestling scene for nearly half a decade when she was invited to Japan for the first time -- just before her 18th birthday.

In addition to spotlighting Japanese talent in America, part of the Spark Joshi mission is also to provide a platform for non-Japanese wrestlers who have either shown potential to be foreign talent in Japan, have past experience wrestling in Japan or worked with Japanese wrestlers elsewhere, or wrestle a style that would fit in well under a Japanese promotion. Billie Starkz is all of the above, with a history that has prompted many fans to call her an "American Joshi."

In fact, as she has often pointed out, she'll be a ten year veteran when she turns 23 in the future.

Fresh off her Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling tour that culminated in a main event match at the Mecca of puroresu, Korakuen Hall in Toyko Dome City, Billie Starkz will take part in Spark Joshi's Ignite East 2023 event in Newark, New Jersey on June 11th.
